Support for every pro, at every stage

QuickBooks Online ProAdvisors need to recertify by June 30 each year to maintain their certifications. If you’re excited about the idea of becoming Badged for Success, all you need to start is sign up for QuickBooks Online Accountant for free. You need to recertify every year by June 30 to maintain your QuickBooks Online certifications. The Certification/s you pass are yours, not your firm’s, but you must remain a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program Member to use the certification titles, logos, and distinctions. Moving forward, we’ll make registration for virtual conference events available through the training tab in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

• Badged for Success has four distinct badge categories, each tailored to acknowledge the growth and engagement of accounting firms on QuickBooks Online over the previous calendar year.
• Clients are more likely to retain your services and refer others when they’re confident in your skills and knowledge.
• While preparing, you can also earn CPE credits, which apply to maintaining your certified public accountant’s (CPA’s) license.
• You should be able to access your badge on the available certifications page within 60 minutes of passing your certification exam.

If you fail the first three attempts, you’ll be locked out for 60 days. There’s no cost to take the exam, which has a total of 80 questions broken down into five sections. It should take approximately three and a half hours to complete all five sections. You can review your answers for a particular section before confirming the submission. If you’re ready to take the exam, go to the Certification hub and then click the Take exam button. If you’ve already started the exam and resume later, you should see a green Resume exam button, as shown below.
